MBNA is a digital first operation that uses email to communicate with its customers. Applicants for this credit card must have a valid email address and must consent to receiving email communications in respect of their credit card. By checking this box and continuing with this application, you:
1) Consent to The Toronto-Dominion Bank ("TD") providing to you, in electronic form on this website, this Information Box, the Terms and Conditions and the Privacy Terms included with this application, all of which is also set out under Legal Disclosures ;
2) If your account is approved, you consent to TD providing electronic versions of the MBNA Account Agreement and the MBNA Privacy and Personal Protection Information Notice to the email address you provided in your application. And if this application is for a credit card that will provide you with the ability to immediately transact upon approval, you also consent to TD providing electronic versions of other account documents to the email address you provided in your application, including the Disclosure Statement, applicable credit card Rewards Program Terms, and applicable Credit Card Guide to Coverage (if any) for an approved account. You agree that TD may provide some or all of the above documents through links to such documents.

The following summary information applies to Alaska Airlines World Elite Mastercard credit card account. You further understand that the Mastercard World Elite account is a type of premium credit card ("Premium Card").   A Premium Card can impose higher acceptance costs on merchants.
Annual Interest Rate
Standard Rates:

Defa ult Rates:
If your Minimum Payment is late twice within any [12]  consecutive Statement Periods (the "change event"), the Standard Rate(s) that apply to your account at that time will increase [5]%  to a maximum of 29.99% . The new Standard Rate(s) will apply on the first day of the second Statement Period following the change event.
If you then pay each Minimum Payment on time for [12]  consecutive Statement Periods ("cure period"), the Standard Rate(s) that apply to your account at that time will decrease back to the previous Standard Rate(s) prior to the rate increase on the first day of the first Statement Period that occurs after the cure period.
Interest-free Grace Period
You will not be charged interest on each new purchase for a minimum grace period of 21  days if you pay the New Balance in full by the Due Date for the account statement on which such new purchase first appears. You will always be charged interest on cash advances, balance transfers and access cheques from the date such transactions occur.
Minimum Payment
Your Minimum Payment will be the sum of: (1) $10.00 ; plus  (2) all new interest charges; plus  (3) any fees; plus  (4) any past due Minimum Payment amounts; plus  (5) any amount that exceeds your credit limit. If your New Balance is less than $10 , the Minimum Payment will equal the New Balance.
Foreign Currency Conversion
All transactions and payments made in a foreign currency will be converted to Canadian dollars. Transactions will be converted at a rate equivalent to the benchmark rate set by the payment card network under which your card is issued in effect on the date that we process the transaction, plus an amount equal to 2.5%  of the transaction amount after it has been converted. Payments will be converted into Canadian dollars at a rate equivalent to the Bank of Canada rate reported at the close of business on the day immediately preceding the date that we process the payment, plus an amount equal to 2.5%  of the foreign currency payment amount.
Annual Fees
Your Annual Fee is $99.00 , to be posted on your first statement after the first use of your account and annually thereafter on your anniversary date.
